**THE **ROLE**

When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:

- Executing lower-level behavior interventions with students of concern, including check-ins and check-outs, student reflections and de-escalation;
- Helping progress monitor student behavior trackers;
- Conducting in-class push ins/pull outs to help with de-escalation and coping skills;
- Monitoring students in detention and in-school suspension;
- Performing discipline data entry;
- Assisting Teachers with the supervision of students in all instructional settings;
- Assisting Teachers with behavior management techniques by demonstrating, modeling, and positively reinforcing desired behaviors;
- Monitoring students during transition times throughout the school day, inside and outside of the classroom, including hallways, cafeteria, gym, and other areas where students are present;
- Monitoring in-school suspension;
- Holding students accountable to campus behavioral expectations and administer appropriate consequences;
- Additional duties as assigned.

**THE PERKS**
- ** Compensation** - **This position is a non-exempt, hourly position; salary offers commensurate with experience.

Health and Supplemental Insurance** - A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
