SALARY: New employees: $15.07/hr x days 1-60 then $15.57/hr

AVAILABILITY: Immediate

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ability to:

- Deal with students, faculty, parents, and staff in a courteous, professional manner
- Operate/learn to operate all kitchen equipment
- Perform duties such as general food prep, cleaning/sanitizing, etc.
- Work rapidly and efficiently in performing job duties
- Work well and maintain composure in faced paced environment
- Efficiently handle and record cash transactions
- Excellent customer service skills a must

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare a variety of hot and cold breakfast and lunch items utilizing various methods and equipment
- Serve meals to students and staff, demonstrating high level of customer service
- Assist with completing records and logs as mandated by state and federal guidelines
- Use proper sanitation and safety procedures
- Maintain knowledge of National School Breakfast and Lunch Program regulations
- Utilize computerized point of sale system for student transactions
- Assist with receipt of food deliveries
- May prepare or assist in preparing and setting up refreshments for special functions
