**Job Summary**:
An audiovisual installer is an entry level position that requires little to no industry experience. You will be responsible for assisting with the wiring, setup, and operation of audiovisual equipment for homes and businesses. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in the field of custom audiovisual integration. This is a hands-on position that allows you to learn from your peers.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Setup and Operation**: Assist in setting up home technology equipment such as televisions, amplifiers, projectors, speakers, IoT devices, cameras, security systems, video sources, window treatments, and lighting systems at our client’s home.

2. **Testing and Troubleshooting**: Conduct in-field testing of equipment to ensure functionality and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during installations.

3. **Technical Support**: Provide technical support to the homeowner to ensure smooth operation of the equipment installed.

4. **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, setup configurations, and technical issues encountered during installation for future reference.

5. **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with other members of the team to coordinate setup and operation of equipment for larger projects.

6. **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service to clients and event attendees, addressing any concerns or questions related to audio visual technology.

**Requirements**:
1. **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or coursework in audiovisual technology is a plus.

2. **Technical Skills**: Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology, including familiarity with sound systems, low voltage wiring, and televisions.

3. **Tool Skills**: Basic understanding and use of hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers, level, tape measure, wire cutters, wire stripers, saws, drills, etc.

4. **Technology Skills**: Ability to navigate and use android and iOS devices along with the general use of a standard windows computer.

5. **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions quickly and efficiently.

6. **Communication Skills**: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, builders, and team members.

7. **Physical Stamina**: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.

8. **Flexibility**: Willingness to work evenings and/or possibly weekends as needed to meet customer demands.

9. **Team Player**: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
