**Summary**

Penguin Natural Foods is a Southern California private label food manufacturing company, supplying finished goods to the nation’s leading grocery stores. We are currently looking for a driven, reliable professional to serve as our Data Analyst. This individual will ensure the quality and accuracy of the data provided by the production team. Additionally, they will create and deliver reports to senior management to enhance operational efficiency.

**Job Duties**
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity of the production team.
- Extract relevant data from SQL tables within the ERP system.
- Develop and generate reports for senior management to provide operational transparency and insights into production trends and performance.
- Assist in developing short and long-term strategies to improve data collection and analysis efficiency.
- Set up systems to guarantee data quality and timely reporting.
- Monitor data operations and trigger corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure all data handling and reporting procedures follow relevant internal control systems.
- Analyze variances in data between expected and actual results.

**Qualifications / Education / Experience / Skills**
- Proficiency/experience using data analysis tools such as SQL or R (required).
- Proficiency in Excel (required).
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (required).
- Experience in Data Analyst role (Highly Preferred).
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred).
- Fluent in Spanish (preferred).
- Familiarity with data management and data quality assurance practices.
- Knowledgeable of statistical analysis techniques.
- Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
- Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
