The Help Desk Technician provides onsite technical support for both clinical and business office staff in a professional and timely manner. Utilizing a variety of methods, provides diligent, efficient, and effective customer service while resolving support requests. Under the direction of the Systems Support Manager and Chief Information Officer, manage and maintain IT infrastructure, workstations, and software.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Install and configure hardware and software based on specific business needs or function.
- Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs network/telephone patch panels and cabling.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades with mínimal impact to end users.
- Maintain IT asset inventory through accurate record keeping and documentation practices.
- Provide orientation and education to end users on the use and operation of new software and computer systems.
- Setup workstations, printers, and other devices required for business operations.
- Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computers systems through appropriate configuration, patching, and change management practices.

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assists in system-wide upgrades.
- Drive to and from remote sites.
- Attends staff training and meetings as required.
- Assists with a variety of duties to meet the needs of the department on an as needed basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Possession of a valid California driver?s license and a clean driving record to allow for travel between facilities.
