**Department Purpose**

The ICC has campus-wide responsibility for developing experiential education opportunities and for providing support for the career exploration and development process to students. This includes part time employment, career planning, academic internships, other forms of experiential learning, as well as career employment upon graduation with a goal that students are employed in positions commensurate with their world-class education.

**Job Summary**

Under supervision of the Associate Director, develops a center-wide marketing plan, including electronic, print and social media, for multiple constituencies including; students, campus and employers. Tailors marketing materials based on audience and delivery method. Coordinates student marketing with the Student Affairs Marketing and Communications. Oversee ICC social media channels and organizes weekly newsletters and other outreach materials. Utilizes content management system to update content provided by content experts for the ICC website ensuring consistent voice and tone. Uses valid and reliable research methods to gather, analyze, and report data on issues relevant to the work of the Internship and Career Center (ICC), most specifically the full evaluation and interpretation of data gathered through the annual First Destination Career Survey and demographic information related to ICC services Supports the data collection, disaggregation and analysis needs of colleagues within the ICC to make data driven decisions. Reports results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Education/Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, higher education/Student Affairs, social sciences or related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Experience in planning, organizing and implementing projects with complex logistics involving multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, including; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff of all levels, employers, faculty, students and alumni.

**Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)**:

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills to produce top quality reports and data analysis/promotional materials, and to compose and edit information and correspondence in a timely manner.
- Technical knowledge with excellent verbal/writing skills to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Interpersonal skills to work with a diverse body of students, staff, faculty, administrators and community members.
- Technical skills including: Advanced computer skills in Microsoft suite, google suite and Box. Experience with survey administration tools, in particular Qualtrics.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

**Preferred Education/Experience**:

- Experience with website content management systems such as SiteFarm, electronic newsletter tools such as MyEmma and social media scheduling tools such as Sprinklr.
- Experience using social media platforms for marketing.
