Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious matcha/tea beverages. If you have a passion for matcha and tea, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and serve a variety of matcha and tea beverages, such as lattes, usucha etc
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the matcha bar area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and other duties as needed
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Sales experience is beneficial but not required
