**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with doctors and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs
- Provide education to patients and families on disease prevention and management
- Assist in specialized procedures such as spinal taps and ophthalmology exams
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment

**Experience**:

- Infection control practices
- Working collaboratively with doctors and specialists
- Ophthalmology procedures
- Electronic health record systems, including Athenahealth
- Dementia care techniques
- Medical coding principles
- Patient assessment skills, including geriatric assessments
- Specialized procedures like spinal taps
