Construction Control Representative

**Requirements**:
**Conditions of Employment**:

- The incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- Incumbent must have the potential to be appointed as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and obtain certification as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450 upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- Work involves using numerous special safety precautions, including wearing personnel protective clothing (non-breathing HazMat suits), respirators, and using man-lifts.
- Work involves stooping, bending, climbing, roofs, crawling under buildings and in conduit, confined spaces, high voltage areas, and other contaminated areas.
- Exposure to hazardous wastes, asbestos, dust, tunnel work, and gases occur frequently.
- Exposure to extreme heat and/or cold temperatures during summer and winter months is possible.

**Who May Apply: US Citizens**
- **Specialized Experience**:One year of specialized experience which includes 1) reading and interpreting vertical building construction plans and specifications, submittals, and shop drawings and 2) general construction contract administration. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
- Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
