**Construction Laborer**
Tek Construction Group is a full-service construction firm located in Saint Cloud, FL. We are seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Install and repair various types of concrete, masonry, and steel structures
- Assemble masonry units into walls using various tools or power tools
- Assemble brickwork using power tools or hand tools
- Assemble stone and wood frames using power tools or hand tools
- Assemble windows, doors, frames, hardware, and other construction materials using power tools or hand tools
- Work with heavy equipment when necessary
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions as well as work indoors in hot or cold temperatures
- Use power equipment such as saws, drills, hammers, etc. to cut materials into smaller pieces for use with power tools or hand tools
- Use measuring devices such as tape measurers, rulers, etc. to measure materials or projects using hand tools or power tools.
- Use safety rules and regulations as prescribed by company or organization or state or federal government agency.
- Maintain work area in cleanliness by keeping floors swept and floors clear through out the day. Maintain equipment clean by following instructions on how to do so. Maintain quality by following quality standards throughout the day. Adhere to company policies regarding safety and security by following all policies and procedures that pertain to safety and security including but not limited to: all work areas must be protected from exposure to weather conditions outside the job site at all times; use appropriate PPE when working around equipment; all equipment must be secured at all times; all workers must be wearing proper PPE when working around machinery; all workers must wear appropriate safety gear including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety pants, safety glasses with lenses; all workers must wear respirator at all times unless prohibited by law; follow instructions on how to do so by training new employees on how to treat client properties with care; maintain quality by following quality standards throughout the day; adhere to dress code at home sites where client properties are being installed; perform other duties necessary for job site responsibilities as assigned by supervisor; perform other duties as assigned by supervisor on any given project site including but not limited of: painting jobs, carpentry jobs, etc.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
