**SUMMARY**: Supports the Technology Department and needs across the entire District. Supports day-to-day technology needs for multiple departments and schools. Ability to support, troubleshoot and solve issues within software and hardware solutions as appropriate. Installs, modifies, troubleshoots and makes repairs to district computer hardware and software systems at the district level. Must perform the following duties to demonstrate these competencies.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of hardware and software issues within a variety of environments and platforms.
Perform warranty and non-warranty repairs within Vendor specified service excellence guidelines including but not limited to, verifying warranty eligibility, accurately diagnosing defective parts, correctly identifying part to be replaced, creating/managing repairs within Vendor’s order system and returning exchange parts within Vendor’s predefined return window.
File warranty claims and keep record of repairs performed and pending.
Support end-users with a variety of software and hardware needs to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. Learn and stay current with a variety of software tools used across the organization.
Support multiple physical locations including the district office and school sites when appropriate.
Maintain, adjust, upgrade, service, repair and\or coordinate warranty service and repair of computers, as well as monitors, digital cameras and other audio-visual equipment that may be used with computers.
Provide preventative maintenance as needed.
Utilize a variety of electronic test equipment and diagnostic software to determine defects and malfunctions.
Replace defective components and wiring using a variety of hand tools and equipment.

Provide updates, status, and completion information to stakeholders utilizing a variety of communication modes and update problem request tracking systems as necessary.
Repair internal and/or external hardware either onsite or at the location of equipment.
