**Duties**:

- Provide advice and assistance on all aspects of Signals (SIGINT) Intelligence capabilities, from initial concept to fielding and operations.
- Evaluate new technologies for integration into existing SIGINT systems (e.g., Trojan NextGen, C-UAS).
- Plan, conduct, and analyze System Operational Verification Tests (SOVT) for new/upgraded SIGINT systems.
- Offer technical expertise and makes key decisions regarding tactical and Theater SIGINT systems.
- Determine acceptance or rejection of Terrestrial Layer SIGINT systems based on testing results.
- Oversee all aspects of the testing program, including effectiveness evaluation and deficiency tracking.
- Shape future tactical and Theater SIGINT operations through strategic planning.
- Manage technical review, quality control, and coordination of IS/accreditation documents and Engineering Change Proposals for SIGINT systems.
- Track operational system status and coordinates with stakeholders regarding IS/accreditation.

- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time.

- Specialized experience is defined as experience overseeing administrative and production aspects of signals intelligence operations.
- Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
- This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12).
