**SUMMARY**:

- The Student Study Facilitator provides support services to students and programs as directed by the principal or designee to assist in achieving site and District goals for student behavior and achievement.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Provides supports to students and programs to improve student behavior and achievement; such as monitoring in school suspension, study hall, and/or after-school detention and attendance.
- Maintains accurate records related to campus programs to improve student behavior and achievement.
- Provides general clerical support, such as typing, copying, and collating, related to campus programs to improve student behavior and achievement.
- Supports the relationship between the Phoenix Union High School District and the public by demonstrating courteous and professional behavior when interacting with students, parents, visitors, and school staff; maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, client records, and school information; follows Governing Board Policies; performs all other related duties as required or assigned.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines**:

- High School diploma or GED equivalent; AND six months of classroom experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**License and Certification Requirements**:

- Possess an active Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or obtain one within the first 90 workdays of employment.

**IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Ability to operate the computer and use appropriate software preferred.
- Skill in researching and compiling data for reports, presentations, and technical documents.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
