Director, Concert Venue Rentals

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive rental strategy to maximize the utilization and revenue generation of our concert venue spaces
- Manage a team of rental and booking professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of rental strategies and client relationships
- Proactively identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with potential clients, including artists, booking agents, presenters, promoters, event planners, and corporate clients
- Negotiate and finalize rental agreements, ensuring that all contractual terms and conditions are met
- Coordinate closely with our operations, production, and hospitality teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional client experiences
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to identify new revenue opportunities and enhance our rental services
- Develop and manage the concert venue rental budget, tracking key performance metrics and optimizing pricing and inventory
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on venue rental strategy, policies, and long-term growth initiatives

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in concert venue and/or event, management, with a proven track record of successful venue rentals and client relationship management
- Demonstrate a creative and entrepreneurial mindset and be proficient in identifying and leveraging commercial opportunities, encompassing rental ventures and potential partnerships
- Utilize technology and data-driven methodologies to optimize processes, enhance decision making and drive strategic initiatives within the Rental/Booking department
- Extensive knowledge of the live entertainment industry, including booking processes, production requirements, and industry best practices
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of clients
- Proficient in contract management, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Passion for the live music and entertainment industry, with a deep understanding of the needs and expectations of concert and event organizers
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and/or demonstration of proven and successful experience in the field
