Pre-op, PACU, OR circulating skills/experienced _**are a MUST**_ as DoN is a supervisory over other ASC team members.
**Description**:The Ambulatory Surgery Center Director of Nursing will oversee clinical operations of this state-of-the art Surgery Center. The Surgery Center Director of Nursing will oversee clinical and administrative staff, including nurses that will support the operations. Key responsibilities include (although not exhaustive): budgeting oversight, providing leadership to a wonderfully experienced staff of nurses, technicians, and supervisors, and continually assess and revise policies and procedures to improve the surgery center’s services.
The Outpatient Surgery Center Nurse Director of Nursing will oversee clinical and day to day operations at a busy center in accordance with the latest in technology to ensure a safe environment and Medical Board of CA/Joint Commission/OSHA standards are met. The Ambulatory Surgery Center ASC Director of Nursing will collaborate with the center's Surgeons and report directly to the Surgery Center Administrator and partners.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Current CA RN license.
- BLS certification, ACLS certification
- Five (5) years experience in in acute hospital OR or ASC, working on a variety of surgical procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and completion of the current hours required by the BRN of RN student clinical experience or Graduate of registered nursing and 2000 hours of RN experience in clinical area of specialty from a licensed acute care facility within three (3) years of graduation
Pay: $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
