Starting in 2010 as a neighborhood bakery, Duverger now owns a state-of-the-art production facility and is distributed in major natural retail chains and bakeries throughout the United States.Job descriptionDuverger is seeking an Asian Market Sales Director who will be responsible for their assigned territory as determined by the General Manager. In this position, you will lead efforts to drive consistent and profitable growth through the development and execution of effective sales strategies. By identifying new business opportunities and cultivating relationships with both existing and potential customers, you will play a critical role in expanding market presence and achieving sales objectives. This position demands strategic thinking, strong sales background, and a proactive approach to capitalize on emerging market trends and customer needs. This position will report into the Vice President.ResponsibilitiesDrive sales growth and regularly meet or exceed sales targets set by managementStrategize and execute plans to generate new accounts with your existing book of businessConduct market research to identify potential customers and new market opportunitiesOriginate and propose creative opportunities to expand existing business relationshipsPrepare and present comprehensive monthly sales reports and analytical insights to management to ensure achievement of targetsAssess sales performance and make necessary adjustments to enhance ROICreate programs and initiatives to grow sales such as ads, spiffs, demos, OI s, bill backs and conduct ongoing business planning reviewsWork closely with key distributors to maximize their distribution capabilities while managing the overall cost of doing business with these key partnersBuild and cultivate, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions to their challengesPartner with Marketing to develop personalized sales materials and ensure brand consistency across all communicationsMaintain expert knowledge of product and landscape while identifying emerging competitors, new products and market shiftsParticipate in trade shows and industry events to promote products and networkRequirementsBachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree in a relevant field such as business administration (MBA) may be preferredProven track record in sales management, consistently meeting or exceeding targetsExisting book of business in the Asian MarketSkilled in developing and implementing effective sales strategiesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance metricsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributorsHighly proficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience with Salesforce or equivalentMust speak English and Japanese or Korean or ChineseJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insuranceVision insuranceWork from homeSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekends as neededTravel requirement:Up to 25% travelPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyEducation:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:Sales: 6 years (Required)Language:English (Required)Preference for: Japanese, Korean, Chinese(Mandarin or Cantonese)Ability to Relocate:Oxnard, CA 93033: Relocate before starting work (Required)Willingness to travel:25% (Required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oxnard, CA 93033
