Overview:
Lobby **Concierge** is usually the first contact a visitor to the building will have with building staff, and thus the Concierge plays an important role in creating a positive first impression to visitors. The Concierge will help direct visitors and tenants to the appropriate elevators, answer questions and monitor elevator passes. This position is based at a customer location in the Rockefeller Plaza area of NYC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and guide visitors to the appropriate floor and elevator bank
- Runs appropriate errands for guests and picks up or delivers a variety of items
- Provides a variety of business services such as shipping packages
- Receive, deliver, or retrieve small parcels to/from tenants throughout the building
- Support building security with screening visitors & providing building passes
- Uniform worn daily (will be provided)
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary
- The wage range for this position is $16.29 - $25.31 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

Qualifications:

- High school degree / GED or Work equivalent required. 2 years of hotel guest services experience highly preferred
- Great communication skills
- Exhibits strong typing skills/or data entry skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace, high volume environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient
- Actively participates in safety policies, activities and implementations
- Great interpersonal and communication skills with clients, customers, and co-workers
