Patient Service Representative

_**Required Qualifications**:_
- _Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans_
- _6+ months of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting_
- _Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions_
- **Preferred Qualifications**:_
- _2+ years’ recent experience working as a Patient Service Representative_
- _Experience with CS-Link/Epic_
- _Understanding of medical terminology_
- **Job Duties**:_
- _Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone_
- _Greet patients and assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating as appropriate_
- _Check patients in/out and collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments_
- _Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic_
- _Schedule appointments and complete patient registration_
- _Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types_
- _Handle patient/provider correspondence_
- _Explains polices, procedures, or services to patients_
- Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelines_
**Job Type**: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
