Our patients come to us to be relieved of pain, improve their smile or after a traumatic injury. If you would like to be part of our team that helps others, then we've got a chair with your name on it.

Our team provides the most compassionate care to our patients in need of oral healthcare. No days are ever the same for our patient representatives who are often the first to greet our patients either on the phone or in person. You can make a difference by helping someone just by saying "Welcome to SMOMS, how can we help you today?"

It's an exciting time to be a part of SMOMS. We have 5 oral surgeons that keep us busy You'll be an integral part of our team working closely with the surgeons, fellow PSRs and our clinical team.

NO experience is necessary as we will train on the job but if you have experience your wage will reflect that.

We have three locations - Portland (near the mall), Windham (close to Starbucks and Marshalls) and Biddeford (two minutes from Target or Planet Fitness.)

While this position is primarily based in our Portland location, occasionally travel to our Biddeford or Windham location may be required.

High School Diploma or GED

Drivers license, as travel to other locations is occasionally required

Greet and check patients in/out for consults, surgeries and follow up appointments

Scheduling patients for consults, surgeries and follow up appointments

Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Collect patient demographic and insurance information; enter into data base

Contact insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain benefit information

Prepare estimates for patients scheduling for surgeries and procedures

Conducts self in accordance with employee manual

Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/ regulations

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, co-workers, etc.

First point of contact, in person and over the phone, for new or returning patients needing to schedule consults, surgeries and follow up appointments. Responsible for providing excellent customer service to enhance the patient experience.
