We are hiring an Operational Business Data Analyst - this is a newly created position to support the team
The Business Data Analyst plays a crucial role in driving Global customer facing business performance through data-driven insights. By leveraging statistical methods, modeling, and analytical methodologies, this professional contributes to strategic decision-making and operational improvements. They develop and deploy tools such as dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:Data Analysis and Insights**:
Utilize statistical techniques and modeling to extract meaningful insights from data.
Develop and maintain dashboards, infographics, and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

**Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement**:
Interact closely with business users, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
Collaborate on cross-functional projects to address operational gaps and enhance business processes.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

**Data Mining and External Research**:
Collect, process, and analyze internal data sources (e.g., databases, ERP & CRM systems) to uncover patterns and trends.
Leverage external industry data, competitor intelligence, and market research to enhance business insights.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, value drivers and cost reduction.

**Operational Strategy Development**:
Translate data findings into actionable strategies for operational improvements collaborating with process experts and stakeholders..
Work closely with leadership to align data-driven recommendations with overall business objectives.
Monitor the implementation of strategies and assess their impact on operational performance.

**Process & Technology Continuous Improvement**:

- Research and assess current reporting practices and workflows to determine opportunities in predictive and reactive analytics.
Identify areas for improvement using enabling technology, including AI, SAC, Power BI, R/Python, etc.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in a Business Analytics role or similar
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Able to work with cross functional teams.
Experience with KPIs, business intelligence, and operational processes.
