Working Conditions

The CEC supports a hybrid workplace model with office-based and remote-centered workers. Limited in-person attendance and occasional travel may be required based on the needs of the division. Regular and consistent attendance is essential to successful performance. This position is remote-centered, which means the incumbent works 50 percent or more of their time from an alternate work location.

1) Experience effectively supervising an interdisciplinary staff toward successful outcomes.
2) Knowledge of technical and policy matters pertaining to energy efficiency, and building decarbonization including state, national, and local policies; emerging technologies and measures; and/or strategies to realize energy efficiency savings and reduce emissions associated with new and existing buildings.
3) Experience with developing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with administrative policies, procedures, and processes.
4) Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to ensure products are of consistently high quality.
