Job Summary

What a typical day looks like:

- Manage and lead a team of production support engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Development and implementation of technician training
- Oversee the day-to-day production support activities, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure effective communication and coordination of support activities.
- Develop and implement best practices, processes, and procedures for production support, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing proactive measures to enhance system stability and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new releases and updates, minimizing downtime and impact on production systems.
- Coordination and scheduling of periodic maintenance on equipment.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and driving continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance production support processes and tools.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- 8-10 years of experience, preferably in a regulated industry
- 3 years experience managing production support teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Lean or Kaizen experience a plus
