Organize workflow and level production and communicate status to senior management. Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks thereby assuring on time delivery. Monitor, measure and reduce material scrap and labor waste. Minimize work in process inventory. Minimize manufacturing lead times. Develop and train group leaders and supervisors. Manage all production and employee issues including reviews, benefits and disciplinary matters. Motivate, train and develop employees. Manufacture products of the highest quality. Participate in the selection of manufacturing equipment. Assist in projects (engineering, quality, etc.) when requested. Interface with engineering regarding design improvements. Ensure a safe and OSHA compliant work environment. Administer company policies and procedures including compliance programs as appropriate. Determine and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement. Qualifications : Minimum 5 years related experience working in an assembly manufacturing environment with at least three years of supervisory/management experience.
