Document Imaging Assistant

Description:
Provides support to Tempus Unlimited, Inc./Fiscal Intermediary employees by scanning, indexing and auditing documents within the document imaging system, maintaining defined productivity and accuracy standards for scanning.

**_ Essential Functions_**
- Prepares all documents for efficient entry into document imaging system.
- Organizes scanned document images by indexing to proper locations within the electronic record.
- Maintain high degree of quality control and validation of the completed work.
- Identify common issues and suggest suitable solutions to resolve in a timely manner.
- Maintain daily tracking reports of work performed.
- Responsible for file cabinet organization and monthly purge maintenance.
- Challenges include complete high volumes of work while meeting quality, productivity and timeliness standards.
- Support various Mail Operations activities (sorting, metering, folding, inserting, delivery, pickup)
- Maintains confidentiality of all Consumer/PCA information.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Must report all suspected incidents of consumer sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (D.P.P.C)

**Requirements**:
**Competencies**
- Must display teamwork and commitment while performing daily duties.
- Must demonstrate initiative and discipline in time management and assigned completion.
- Excellent organizational skills for initiation and maintenance of efficient workflow.
- Regular and reliable attendance and time reporting.
- Good visual awareness.
- Able to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office type implements to accomplish document imaging duties.
- Ability to work in a high production environment while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.

**_ Preferred Experience_**
- Must have experience working in an office environment

**_ Required Education_**
- High School Diploma or equivalent education

**_ Work Environment_**
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

**_ Physical Demands_**
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- This job requires at various times, the following physical activities: sitting, reaching, carrying, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting, finger dexterity.

**_ Travel_**
- No travel is required for this position.
