**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Veterinary Technician Certification or persuing Licensure

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF A VET TECH**:

- Assist veterinarian with examinations
- Be able to properly care for and handle animals before, during, and after a procedure.
- Perform diagnostic imaging
- X-rays, Ultrasound
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare exam rooms, kennels, and equipment
- Must follow proper procedures
- Maintain electronic medical charts
- Administer treatment & medication to patients
- Professionally communicate basic diagnoses to pet parents.
- perform diagnostics as related to ear infections, skin infections, intestinal parasites, etc.
- Write SOP

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
