**Become an Order Picker at PACE Supply - Stockton Distribution Center**
**Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment?** PACE Supply is seeking motivated Order Pickers to join our team at our Stockton Distribution Center.
**This is your chance to**:
- ** Gear Up and Go**: Operate order picking equipment like cherry pickers and reach lifts to efficiently select and pack a variety of products.
- ** Scan and Pick**: Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- ** Meet the Challenge**: Thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting company productivity standards.
**Schedule**: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM start time with daily overtime.
**Responsibilities**:
Under direct supervision, prepares merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.
- Looks up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and customer information on the computer and/or RF scanner.
- Refills shelves and racks from overstock, as needed.
- Receives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags.
- Pulls orders from inventory, assigned zones, manually and/or utilizing forklift.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers.
- Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the workgroup.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred.
- Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.

- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck.
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Environmental Conditions:
- The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
