**Compensation Analyst**

**Position Summary**

As a member of our Reward and Recognition team, you will support the execution and development of the Compensation Programs for IPG Health. The Compensation Analyst will report to the SVP Director of Compensation. This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the department and contributing to the successful completion of annual merit/incentive plan and other special compensation projects.

**Essential Functions**
- Assist in the annual merit and annual incentive compensation planning globally. This includes administration, communication with various stakeholders throughout the organization, and reporting.
- Partner with others on the team to support workload and execution of key initiatives of the Compensation organization, information sharing and understanding around compensation programs and practices with HR business partners/talent acquisition, etc.
- Ensure data accuracy in the HRIS system as it pertains to new/modified job codes, updated job titles, etc.
- Administer the monthly off-cycle increase process, anniversary awards and quarterly in-role promotion processes.
- Work with members of Compensation team to gather data and build tools to analyze and report trends and provide intelligence to senior leadership.
- Collect and analyze competitive salary information to assist in the determination of company’s competitive position. Assist the Associate Director of Compensation in the formulation of annual recommendations for updates to the company’s salary structure.
- Compile data and ensures accurate data submission to external surveys vendors for benchmarking.
- Assist Director Compensation Operations with maintaining the job description library and provide analysis via excel of the job architecture to ensure an accurate reflection of the hierarchy.
- Responsible for administrative tasks within the Compensation function such as mail merges.
- Work on other projects as assigned.

**Required**
- A minimum of 2-3 years working in Human Resources
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or equivalent work experience
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in formulas, functions, pivots, and the ability to maintain complex spreadsheets and summarize data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word (mail merge), PowerPoint, etc.
- Some knowledge of related government rules and regulations, including FLSA and other applicable Labor and/or Tax laws and best practices.

**Preferred**
- 2 years working as a Compensation Analyst.
- Knowledge of compensation programs, benchmarking and as well as administration of both salaried and hourly employees.
- Experience with data visualization software a plus (i.e. Tableau, Vizier).

**Salary**

$70,000 to $80,000 annually.
