**Qualifications**:

- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent training.
- Previous experience in a pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families of diverse backgrounds.
- Compassionate nature and a strong sense of empathy, with the ability to comfort and reassure anxious children and parents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

**Essential Functions**:

- Prepare patients for exams
- Take patient medical history
- Perform simple office lab test (i.e. urine, pregnancy test, glucose tests, etc.)
- Draw periodic lab tests and complete requisitions for ordered tests
- Prepare and organize exam rooms by cleaning, stocking and assisting in ordering supplies
- Clean and Autoclave medical instruments
- Assist physicians with entering patient data and orders in the computer.
