Summary

This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration, Financial Management Division, Office of Administration, Records & Information Management Section, Records Management Unit.

As a Supervisory Records & Information Management Specialist, a typical work assignment includes administering all types of records, writing and developing records and information management (RIM) policy, liaising with internal and external customers on RIM policy, and writing and developing RIM schedules.

As a Supervisory Records and Information Management Specialistyour typical work assignments may include:
Providing effective control over the creation, organization, maintenance, use, evaluation, preservation, disposition, and audit of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) records.
Providing oversight of the transition of DEA from paper to electronic records in accordance with digitalization standards established by NARA.
Formulating and executing a continual DEA-wide RIM compliance inspection and evaluation program to assure conformance to established policies and procedures, law, and regulations of other agencies.
Performs the full range of supervisory duties.

**Qualifications**:
You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) performing the following duties: 1) leading projects to improve compliance with records and information management requirements; 2) providing input in developing procedures to improve the administration of records and information management program(s); and 3) participating in projects to improve compliance with records and information management requirements..

Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience for this position includes:
