At **Bodian Dermatology**, our dedicated team helps clients attain beautiful, natural, healthy skin in a spa-like environment. We provide care in our Great Neck office to patients from Long Island, Queens, and the surrounding Boroughs of New York City.

We are seeking a part-time **Medical Assistant **to join our growing dermatology practice. This role will involve providing clinical support to our dermatologists and assisting in delivering quality patient care.

The position will include working on **Mondays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM every week,** and two **Sundays per month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM**, with potential for additional weekend shifts as our practice expands.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist dermatologists and healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Draw up syringes for injections and assist in setting up for biopsies.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during dermatological treatments.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Take accurate patient medical histories.
- Provide patient education on skincare regimens, post-treatment care, and medications.
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Schedule**:

- Work on Mondays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM every week.
- Work two Sundays per month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM initially, with potential for additional Sundays and/or Saturdays in the future.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program and/or relevant certification (e.g., CMA, RMA).
- Prior experience in a medical setting, preferably in dermatology or a related field.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of dermatological procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
