Apartment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing equipment and facilities
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Supervise and coordinate outside contractors for larger repair projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and address them proactively
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to repair various types of equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Basic electrical knowledge, including the ability to work with logic controllers is preferred

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
