Full Time Property Maintenance Tech/Groundskeeper needed for a manufactured home community in Chester, VA.

Monday - Friday 8am-430pm (7am-330pm in summer) with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities. OT available during emergency repairs or after hours calls, but it is not frequent or guaranteed.

Responsibilities include: Daily property cleaning; landscaping, to include trimming of grass, weed trimming, mulching, leaf collection, snow/ice removal, etc.; pool maintenance in summer; water meter readings every three months; water meter installation and repair; wastewater facility maintenance and cleaning; general "handyman" repairs to sales models and rental homes as needed; water main/lateral and sewer main/lateral repair as needed; light road repair, i.e. pothole filling, as needed; and any other task assigned by the Property Manager to maintain the community in a clean and safe condition for the residents.

Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation. Most tools and equipment provided on site. Basic mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair knowledge required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Equipment to operate: Dump truck; Backhoe; Skid Steer; Mowers and trimmers; Pumps and generators; Backpack leaf blowers; Hand tools; Power tools.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
