In this role, you will
Manage a book of healthcare provider business to maintain and enhance strong insured and distribution partner relationships with goal to retain existing business and grow strong new business flow.
Underwrite and analyze individual provider risks; offer appropriate underwriting solutions for clients, while focusing on profitability as determined by the company and other underwriters’ guidance.
Use all available underwriting information to meet and exceed client expectations with timely turnaround and delivery of appropriate pricing and insurance structure.
Engage and maintain excellent communication with internal team members; meet and delivers MedPro Group’s standards of obsessive client focus to each HCP client.
Exhibit proficiency with underwriting systems and processes, enabling efficient and effect processing of client requests.
Establish and maintain excellent communication with internal team members, including sales, claims, and PS&RS.
Work within authority and understands escalation requirements within the company.
Perform other duties as assigned.
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
Minimum or 1 year experience underwriting healthcare exposures.
Strong internal and external communication, analytical, negotiation and organizational skills.
Strong PC Skills.
Some experience with Physicians & Surgeons, ancillary providers or non-hospital facilities.
Ability to maintain strong relationships with Distribution Partners.
Ability to consistently demonstrate timely and appropriate account management while achieving compliance requirements.
Prefer RPLU, CPCU or IIA designation.
