In this role, you will...

  • Manage a book of healthcare provider business to maintain and enhance strong insured and distribution partner relationships with goal to retain existing business and grow strong new business flow.
  • Underwrite and analyze individual provider risks; offer appropriate underwriting solutions for clients, while focusing on profitability as determined by the company and other underwriters' guidance.
  • Use all available underwriting information to meet and exceed client expectations with timely turnaround and delivery of appropriate pricing and insurance structure.
  • Engage and maintain excellent communication with internal team members; meet and delivers MedPro Group's standards of obsessive client focus to each HCP client.
  • Perform risk analysis, including (but not limited to) coverage evaluation, as well as terms and conditions of offer; apply risk analysis to determine appropriate structure and pricing with guidance from other underwriters.
  • Exhibit proficiency with underwriting systems and processes, enabling efficient and effect processing of client requests.
  • Establish and maintain excellent communication with internal team members, including sales, claims, and PS&RS.
  • Work within authority and understands escalation requirements within the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum or 1 year experience underwriting healthcare exposures.
  • Strong internal and external communication, analytical, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Strong PC Skills.
  • Some experience with Physicians & Surgeons, ancillary providers or non-hospital facilities.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with Distribution Partners.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate timely and appropriate account management while achieving compliance requirements.
  • Prefer RPLU, CPCU or IIA designation.

General: MedPro Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The annual gross base salary range is $45,000 to $90,000.This range anticipates the low and high end of the salary for this position.
