**The Milestone Way**

Milestone Homes provides a safe and nurturing home living environment, with emphasis on providing kindhearted care and understanding of the mental health community. We are looking for employees who are dependable, patient, and enjoy interacting with our members and staff. Our staff will assist in day-to-day activities, de-escalation of behaviors, and encourage proper choices and daily life living skills. Staff will need to be detail oriented and can correctly document the administering of medications, electronic records, and chart daily observations of the members activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with personal care: bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise.
- Promote the dignity of members by working with them in a positive, respectful, age appropriate and courteous manner in group and 1:1 setting.
- Basic food preparation: preparing meals, shopping, and other day to day errands.
- General health care: documenting medication and prescriptions usage, administering medicine.
- Mobility assistance / Transportation / Encouragement and Support.
- Personal supervision: providing constant companionship and general supervision.
- Emotional support: being a stable companion and supporter in all matters personal, health-related, and emotional.
- Health monitoring: following a care plan and noticing any changes in the individual's health, recording, and reporting any differences.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: basic cleaning and upkeep of the home, dishes, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, and other housekeeping chores.
- Maintains oral and written communication with staff, management, and others as requested.
- Show a true desire and passion to help make a difference in our members lives.
- Ensure HIPPA compliance in every aspect of facility operations and member care.
- Ensure compliance with Milestone Homes Policies and Procedures, licensure rules and state and federal laws.

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card (Valid)
- Arizona Driver’s License (able to drive, clean record preferred)
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, communicate, and work well with others.

**Shifts**:
**. 3pm to 10pm**
- The more flexible you are, the better
- Full time, part time, and overtime is available.

**Weekend Shift Differential**

**Certified Training required**:Prevention & Support, CPR, First Aid, Article 9

Prior to starting all staff accepting the positions are required to completed necessary in home training, review of policy and procedures, and orientation.

**Can start immediately**:
If you have your training certificates (article 9, prevention and support, and First Aid & CPR you can begin work immediately.
- Milestone Homes completes background checks, personal and employment reference checks on all prospective employees._

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
