Early Interventionist- Service Coordination Only

Bright Start is currently seeking a full-time Service Coordinator for Early Intervention to work in the **Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester County **areas. Early Interventionists provide intensive developmental instruction and service coordination for parents/caregivers and their children with developmental delays and/or special needs. We support families in helping children reach developmental milestones by building on the strengths of the family and child through home visits and individualized family training.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist parents of infants and toddlers with developmental delays and/or disabilities in obtaining access to needed early intervention services and other community services.
- Complete evaluations and assessments.
- Facilitate and participate in the development, reviewing, and monitoring of Individual Family Service Plans/Family Service Plans.
- Complete all linkage and referrals to providers for needed services.
- Coordinate the provision of early intervention services and other services (such as educational, social, and medical services that are not provided for diagnostic or evaluative purposes) that the child needs or is being provided.
- Conducting follow-up activities to determine that appropriate Part C services are being provided.
- Complete clinical documentation within established time frames.

Adhere to guidelines set forth by BabyNet and the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Education, Psychology, or a related field and one year of documented experience working with infants and toddlers or one year of documented experience working with children ages birth to 5 years with disabilities.

**OR**
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any field with three years of documented experience with infants and toddlers or children age birth to 5 years with disabilities.

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
