**_ Job Summary_**
- The Spa Receptionist is responsible for the booking and guest registration process, including the_
- communication of Spa services in a courteous and informative manner._
- Essential Job Functions_
- _Greets guests in friendly manner, ensuring all guest contact is courteous, informative, and thorough._
- _Performs accurate scheduling and confirming of guest appointments._
- _Manages treatment bookings and updates schedules throughout the day._
- _Ensures appointments are on time, communicating delays as necessary._
- _Notifies therapists of bookings and appointments in a timely manner._
- _Accurately communicates Spa services, features, and amenities._
- _Processes payments, obtaining proper approval and authorization._
- _Maintains a record of reservations, therapist schedules, and registration forms._
- _Performs opening and closing procedures according to resort standards._
- _Ensures that the presentation and Spa cleanliness reflects resort standards at all times._
- _Actively promotes the Spa, treatments, services, and retail._
- _Assists with retail product inventory._
- _Maintains knowledge of Spa, hotel, and community events to accurately and clearly communicate_
- information to guests and employees._
- _Performs related duties as requested by management_
**_ Education, Experience and Skill Requirements_**
- _High school diploma or equivalent required._
- _Previous experience in a similar position strongly preferred._
- _Career interest in Spa & wellness or a related industry is preferred._
- _Knowledge of Spa services and products._
- _Superior customer service and interpersonal skills required._
- _Calm and courteous in demanding situations, must enjoy working with people._
- _Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office._
- _Must have basic math skills. Prior knowledge in cashiering preferred._
- _Must be able to maintain a professional appearance at all times._
- _Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as necessary._
**_ Physical Qualifications:_**
- _Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions._
- _Ability to stand for extended periods of time._
