Warehouse Associate

**Warehouse Job Description**

**Requirements**:

- Oversee inventory of all goods brought into the company
- Inspect incoming shipments of perishable food items to ensure they meet quality and safety
- Ensure that temperature-controlled storage areas are properly set up and maintained to keep perishable food items at the appropriate temperature
- Record and document all incoming shipments of perishable food items, including their origin, quantity, and condition
- Identify and report any damaged or spoiled perishable food items and arrange for their disposal or return
- Monitor and track inventory levels of perishable food items, by coordinating with Inventory to ensure timely replenishment
- Follow strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination of perishable food items
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely distribution of perishable food items to their intended destinations
- Maintain accurate records of all activities related to the receiving and handling of perishable food items
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to the handling and storage of perishable food items
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
- Report any maintenance and or repair of all equipment assigned to warehouse
- Report any damages to walls, doors and or machinery
- Responsible for safety all staff and equipment within the warehouse

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bilingual
- Detail oriented
- Forklift certified
- 1-year minimum warehouse experience
- Inventory experience
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong excel, Microsoft and google doc’s experience

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
