**Property Information**

The Temecula/Vail Lake KOA is an outdoor campground destination located in beautiful Southern California among a grove of oak trees. It is a year-round park offering camping close to the Temecula wine country, beautiful Vail Lake, and has miles of mountain bike, horse, and hiking trails. We have over 450 RV sites and are currently installing 24 units of accommodation on the property with a plan to add up to 150 units. Our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service, outstanding amenities, and the opportunity to create memories to last a lifetime

**Working Hours**:

- Full time - 40 hours/week
- Salaried - $80,000
- Monday - Friday or as department needs arise
- Daily hours should best fit the department needs
- Schedule should over-lap with the GM by at least 2 days

**Administrative tasks**:

- Attend weekly Department Head meetings
- Meet with GM individually once per week
- Help disseminate information on project plans, policy changes and other information to individual teams
- Daily/weekly scheduling for the department
- Approval of department time sheets
- Help facilitate all trainings for department staff
- Administrate and monitor safety and health programs in compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations
- Prepare and manage records of supplies and equipment and provide project status reports as requested
- Create SOP guide for daily processes and tasks
- Create Daily, Quarterly, Annual Maintenance checks and schedule for major systems and amenities

**Leadership Responsibilities**:

- Recruitment and hiring of staff for department
- Orientation and training of new hires and assist with completion of HR tasks
- Assist with or conduct employee disciplinary actions when needed
- Conduct bi-annual or quarterly department employee reviews
- Available cover shifts for the department as necessary
- Help resolve and coordinate customer service recovery
- Communicate directives and assign tasks to staff with professionalism
- Interact with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to company purchasing policy

**Daily Responsibilities**:

- Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
- Manage daily maintenance and repair of all aspects of the park which include but are not limited to: buildings, equipment and tools, public areas, guest accommodation, sewer system and lines, and electrical lines in both a hands on and supervisory capacity
- Collaborate with KEI Construction Team on major capital improvement projects
- Respond calmly and make rational decisions when problems and repairs arise on the property
- Water Quality monitoring - coordination with contractor
- Septic Monitoring - Coordination of contractor
- Repair and maintenance of lake facilities, infrastructure, and landscaping
- Monitor well/water usage
- Asset and equipment management of golf cart rental program
- Coordinate tree management plan
- Work with internal management and staff as well as outside vendors and contractors to develop and maintain a continuing atmosphere of peak guest and employee comfort and safety
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager

**Requirements**:
**Skills Required**:

- 5 years relevant experience or training in facilities management
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, maneuver up and down stairs, and dig as needed
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to focus
- Hold a valid Driver’s license
- Communicate effectively in English
- Operate light vehicles safely on property
- Experience operating large equipment such as Telehandler, tractors, golf carts
- Experience with a wide variety of tools and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, equipment operation and safety
- Sufficient knowledge of landscape irrigation systems

**Preferred Skills**
- High level of knowledge and skill with a variety of tools, equipment & operating large equipment such as tractors, forklifts
- Experience operating large equipment such as Telehandler, tractors, golf carts
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle demanding situations frequently
- Bilingual is valued
