Key Responsibilities:

- Manage equipment and hourly personnel in the Molding department to meet or exceed productivity, cost, and scrap goals while maintaining a safe environment.
- Assign tasks and instruct the workforce to maintain high-quality production following process procedures.
- Oversee all molding and pattern storage aspects to meet or exceed productivity, cost, and scrap goals.
- Collaborates with the melt department supervisor with daily production schedules, promoting efficiency and productivity.
- Document all poured molds, track inventory, and report production issues to the Production Resource Manager.
- Supervise, train, and review the performance of employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor operations to ensure equipment is in proper working condition, employees follow procedures, and work areas are clean and safe.
- Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and policies, promptly investigate accidents and take action to eliminate potential hazards.
- Participate in production scheduling, scrap reduction efforts, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend necessary changes.

Qualifications:

- Some college preferred; 5 years of manufacturing experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective coaching, monitoring, and disciplinary skills.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and computer skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
