**Organization Overview**
The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), founded in 1977, is the medical professional society for maternal-fetal medicine subspecialists, who are obstetricians with additional training and board certification in high-risk pregnancies. SMFM represents more than 7,000 members who care for high-risk pregnant people and provides education, promotes research, and engages in advocacy to advance optimal and equitable perinatal outcomes for all people who desire and experience pregnancy. As a part of a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), SMFM is forming the Data to Action Training and Activation (DATA) Academy to translate data and recommendations from maternal mortality review committee (MMRC) reports into action to reduce maternal deaths and improve health equity. Members of the DATA Academy cohort will learn about how MMRC data is collected, reviewed, analyzed, and reported on; review and better understand MMRC recommendations; learn how to translate MMRC data and recommendations to find leverage points for action; develop action plans and agendas to reduce maternal deaths; and build relationships with other stakeholders to help take their action plans and agendas to implement effective change.
**Scope of Work**
- SMFM seeks a qualified graphic designer to support the creation of various visual materials for our marketing and branding initiatives.

- Ad hoc materials as budget allows
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience developing resources and/or educational materials for professional adult audiences, preference for clinicians.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with SMFM stakeholders.
- Understanding of branding and visual communication principles and ability to maintain brand consistency across all design deliverables.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of current design trends and best practices.

- Portfolio of prior work demonstrating graphic design expertise.
- Timeline and proposed budget.
- Please note that there is priority for the logo deliverable.
