**Role Description**:
Shifts
- Sunday to Tuesday 9am to 9pm and Wednesday 9am to 3pm

**Responsibilities**:
**Access Control**: Manage the entry and exit points of the dispensary to ensure only authorized personnel and customers gain access.

**Security Presence**: Maintain a high-visibility presence to deter illegal actions, ensuring the safety of staff and customers. This role involves extended periods of standing.

**Customer Service**: Exhibit the highest level of hospitality and customer service, creating a positive experience for all who enter the facility.

**Incident Response**: React swiftly and professionally to emergency situations or disturbances within the dispensary. Document and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

**Compliance**: Adhere to company procedures and legal regulations pertaining to marijuana dispensing, ensuring all activities are conducted in alignment with state laws and company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- At least one year of experience as an armed security guard is required.
- Must possess a valid security guard license and a firearm permit.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security protocols/procedures.
- Skills in observation, reporting, and decision making.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with the public, including staff and customers.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of local laws related to the medical marijuana industry is a plus.
