Optometric Technician

**Need to be open to working Saturdays (10am-4pm)

**Duties**:

- Perform preliminary tests
- Obtain patient medical history and document relevant information.
- Assist with contact lens teachings and provide instructions on proper use and care.
- Administer diagnostic tests such as tonometry (eye pressure measurement) and visual field testing.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and verifying insurance information.

**Skills**:

- Front desk skills including appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, and patient check-in/out procedures.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
