**Responsibilities** Expectations**:Cath Lab

The RN Division Float Pool assesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards set the organization. The primary function of this role is to be available and flexible to float to various departments, and sites throughout the Texas Market to provide patient care, which could include but not limited to scheduling day of staffing, more than one assignment location within a single shift, travel assignments, or seasonal staffing patterns. Participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of a Clinical Leader.

RN Clinical Float Pool are hired with the understanding they must float based on the tiers below, t_**_he schedule is based on the needs of the organization:_**

**Float RN I A**:Employee agrees to be assigned to any facility within their designated market. Employees will be required to float between all the facilities included in the tier that individual commits to supporting. Must be available to be scheduled for a minimum of 2 shifts every week and available to be scheduled a Saturday and Sunday shift every other weekend. Must be available to be scheduled for two major holidays per policy. Tier I only applies to the following markets: South and North Houston; Brazos Valley and East Texas. Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center is not included.

**Float RN I B**:Employee agrees to be assigned to any facility within their designated market. Employees will be required to float between all the facilities included in the tier that individual commits to supporting. Must be available to be scheduled for a minimum of 3 shifts every week and available to be scheduled a Saturday and Sunday shift every other weekend. **Float RN III A**: Employee (with a minimum of a 2 hour notice) will agree to float to any facility within the Texas division. Must be available to be scheduled for a minimum of 2 shifts every week and available to be scheduled a Saturday and Sunday shift every other weekend. Must be available to be scheduled for two major holidays per policy.
