Landscape Superintendent

Job Description:
Colleague is currently looking for a Landscape Superintendent in the Houston, TX. The Landscape Superintendent be working for a Landscape company. This would be a full-time, direct hire opportunity. As the Landscape Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and managing a team of workers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and schedule landscape construction projects, including coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Manage project budgets and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Supervise and mentor a team of landscape workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards
- Maintain equipment and tools, and ensure they are in good working order
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure successful project completion

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
