We are seeking a FULL TIME, YEAR ROUND Fitness & Amenities Manager to assist our Amenities Director with day to day operations.

The Applecross Fitness Center is top notch with state of the art cardio, strength training, a dedicated Cross-Fit zone and separate world class yoga and pilates studio. We also offer Swimming lessons, Swim Teams, Martial Arts, Zumba, along with other niche classes and personal training. We are very open to new programming ideas.

Our Swimming Pool amenities are exceptional. They include an indoor pool and hot tub, a junior olympic seasonal outdoor pool, splash pad, and the Oasis poolside bar all in a lush resort style setting. Tennis Courts along with lesson programs, and basketball are also offered.

Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Fitness & Amenities Director in the daily operations of all aspects of the fitness center, group class scheduling, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, maintenance, and member orientations.

**Duties**:

- Supervision of fitness and amenities operations to ensure that customer satisfaction standards are met and kept by all employees. Interaction with members and guests on a regular basis.
- Responsible for incident reporting and documenting to manager. Maintaining club confidentiality of all policies & procedures, corporate documents and financial information. Monitoring pool and spa chemical levels, water levels, and overall cleanliness to ensure optimal swimming conditions.
- Assist with short and long term planning of operational needs as well as member events. Compliance and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Assist with new membership orientations, release forms, access system, etc.
- Assist in facility equipment maintenance & maintaining optimal club cleanliness.
- Assist members with exercise technique

Requirements - Education and/or Experience:
Preferred but not required: Attended a two or four year College or University studying a health related science, or possessing an accredited certification with one or two years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required or willing to obtain the following qualifications in a reasonable time frame:
Lifeguard Certified by the American Red Cross or Ellis

First Aid and CPR/AED Certified

Certified Pool and Spa Operator

Personal Trainer certification

This is a full-time position with benefits. Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
