Towing Vessel Captain

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Captain to join our team. As a Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of a vessel. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage a crew.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and navigate the vessel in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure compliance with all maritime laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Manage and supervise the crew members on board
- Maintain communication with shore-based personnel and other vessels
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the vessel
- Handle emergency situations and make critical decisions as needed
- Ensure proper rigging and operation of equipment on board
- Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for the crew

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Captain or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of maritime operations, including navigation, safety procedures, and vessel maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and address any equipment issues
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with crew members, shore-based personnel, and authorities

Note: This position requires a valid TWIC, Medical Certificate and Merchant Mariner Credential with Master of Towing Endorsement.
