**Family Engagement Region Representative (Region 6)**:
- Dunn Loring Center
**Description**
- Serves as a liaison between Family and School Partnerships (FSP) and the Division's region to which assigned; works with the region assistant superintendent, executive principals, and school principals to support family engagement in schools; collaborates with staff and community related to initiatives for student academic achievement and healthy development.
**Qualifications**
**Required**:
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree.
- Five (5) years of progressive experience working with schools and/or communities.
- Knowledge of the FCPS organization, mission, rules, and regulations.
- Knowledge of school and community programs, organizations, services, and resources.
- Proficiency with technology.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, and to train, counsel, and coach others.
- Excellent human relations skills and ability to establish and maintain successful cooperative working relationships with appropriate school communities and school-based and central office staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
**Preferred**:
- Bachelor's degree.
