**SUMMARY**:
Under the guidance of a Quality Manager, the Quality Control Technician will monitor product quality by performing inspections of dimensional specification and physical performance according to TCE company standards and customer requirements. Verify that quality procedures are followed and maintain proper documentation.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to accurately inspect extrusion production that meets or exceeds TCE’s customer expectations.
- Inspect extrusion tubing for visual defects.
- Inspect extrusion tubing for dimensional specifications using pin gauges, snap gauges, micrometers, and microscopes.
- Perform elongation, tensile, and concentricity inspections.
- Ability to write inspection results clearly and legibly in English.
- Bring forth any non-conforming product to the attention of management. This includes any production and quality issues.
- Secondary operations, such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and labeling, may be required.
- Maintain good housekeeping by keeping work areas, inspection tools, inspection equipment and warehouse material areas clean and tidy.
- Participate in product-related meetings.
- Maintain good attendance and professionalism.
**PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED**:
- Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment.
- Experience working in a clean room environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
