- _Serve in an advisory and leadership role for the design and development of a broad range of visual information products._
- _Design and create visual information products. Coordinate all aspects of projects including planning and development of new visual information requirements in computer graphics, digital imagery and digital output._
- _Collaborate and coordinate with functional Information Technology Specialists, Audiovisual Specialists, Marketing and Communication Specialists and Subject Matter Expert in developing and designing visual information products._

**Qualifications**:

- You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. OPM Qualifications Standards are available at Visual Information Series 1084- **GS-12**:
For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-11 or equivalent.
- **Specialized experience for this position includes**:
1)Provides support in the design, production and communication of visual materials.- 3) Prepares routine presentations and other visual communications to convey information.
- **GS-13**:
For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12 or equivalent.
- **Specialized experience for this position includes**:
1)Independently design and develop a wide range of visual materials for publication, exhibits and/or presentations.
- 2)Knowledge of a variety of methods, techniques and materials used in the design and production of visual products.
- 3)Ability to plan and/or lead visual production projects.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

**Education**:
**Education may not be substituted at the GS-12 and GS-13 grade levels.**
